At the moment we are not allowing downloads directly to the site, so you must send us a 'hard copy' of your film on DVD or CD. Unless you have been given permission/instruction to do so (and a special email address) DO NOT attempt submit your movie via email. If you do it will be automatically be deleted (which means it will never be seen by us or any of our members).
The information that you need to give is:
- Your up to date contact details
- Your film's details - including length, funding details, production company, distribution information and weblinks
- A synopsis (of less than 100 words) and log line or short description (20 words)
- List any festival screenings and award details
- It would be useful (and polite) to add cast and crew info in your films profile so give us any relevent info
- Anything you think is worth mentioning about the making of your film
If we decide to show your film, we'll then need a broadcast quality copy and copies of any stills you have associated with the film, preferably supplied as high-resolution JPEGs on CD-Rom.
We ask for non-exclusive rights to use your film free-of-charge online for three (3) years from the date of publication to our site. This allows us to show your film on Aspirica but doesn't stop you from giving others the right to show it too. On occasion we will remove films from the site within seven days at the filmmaker's request.
Clearances
When submitting your film to our independent film network you need to make sure you have made all the relevant clearances to allow us to show your film in public.
These include music and script clearances, location and participant release forms. To find out more about what clearances are required and how to get them see our rights & clearances checklist.

In The Post:
All entries must be shipped prepaid - i.e. YOU need to pay the correct postage fee (or we won't accept them).
For best results and protection use bubble-lined envelopes instead and a 'jewel' (CD) case. Do not send your movies or other media in fiber-filled envelopes or "jiffy" bags as the padding fiber can damage both your DVD and our playback equipment. We will NOT be able to return your disc(s) or other media device so make sure it's not your only copy (and it would be helpful if you make sure it's playable BEFORE you send it).
If you are submitting more than one entry, a separate submission form is required for each film, although they may be sent together (make sure we can easily identify them)
Submission Fees:
There are a limited number of places available for our official launch. Chances are if you're reading this there is still time to submit your movie for FREE! However meeting the deadline does not mean your entry will be accepted into the 'Launch showcase'. In the event your entry does not make it to our launch showcase you will be contacted so make sure you include up to date contact details.
Promotional Material/Press Packs:
Please make sure we can identify your entry and match it to your DVD when it arrives and send related press materials, including electronic press kit and photos to
